Editor and Contributor • Harmonics Way

Edited, proofread, and contributed to Harmonics Way book and articles, building up a backlog in preparation for launch of both the book and the company. Harmonics Way is a set of Human Factors principles with applicability for tools, work, and life.

Collaborated with globally distributed teammates to devise research plans, refine protocols and methodologies, and efficiently visualize data. Strategized and led UX research activities for an overhaul of the employee learning and development experience within AEP Transmission. Included conducting generative stakeholder analyses via interviews and surveys, evaluating the usability of learning management systems, and spearheading curriculum development process improvements through the integration of Agile methodologies, usability best practices, and UX research activities. Synthesized and internally presented change management principles based on primary research.

Conducted field and lab interviews, contextual inquiries, prototype tests (both virtual and paper), usability tests, information architecture tests, and heuristic evaluations to support the development of innovative healthcare IT products for underserved populations and their providers. Generated design suggestions from research findings and collaborated with developers and visual designers to iterate in an Agile environment. Compiled research- based design suggestions into a pattern language and design library. Developed a system for managing a project taxonomy in collaboration with key stakeholders. Built and internally presented a set of accessibility guidelines based on literature review.
